This property is located 5 minutes from McMinnville, Tn, the barnhouse is located on the north side of our family's 100 yr old barn on 23 acres of land in Middle Tennessee and been in our family since before the Civil Ward. Plenty of room to walk around and walk down to Charles Creek that runs on the south end of our farm and do a little fishing. This is a great escape from city life and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country but yet 10 minutes from the grocery store and restaurants. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on the covered porch and read a book, watch the sunrise or the sunset. Our cozy vintage loft apartment (Suite D) sits just off the courthouse square in downtown Spencer. Suite D is in the loft of the 15,000 square foot Hitchcock’s Building! Our building was constructed in 1945 for my dad’s Uncle Morris. He and his wife lived in this apartment and operated a grocery store on the bottom floor and sold dry goods in the loft right outside the apartment. Our dad, uncle, and family friend purchased the building in 1968 and continued to operate the grocery store for decades. The loft portion of the building is an events venue and Suite D is the brides suite when we have weddings in the loft! The down stairs is now home to Hello Honey Bridal Boutique and another The Great Room which is another venue rental.
